Yamaha GB1K and GC Grand Pianos
Excellent pianos start with the finest woods. Yamaha designers, engineers and craftsmen have introduced the expressive tone, subtle colors and dynamics of a conservatory grand into the GB1K and GC models by incorporating soundboards and ribs that are crafted by Yamaha artisans utilizing hand-selected spruce from the Kitami Wood Mill in Hokkaido, Japan. In addition, these pianos incorporate the robust back post design of the conservatory series pianos, providing them with a powerful resonance, durability and tuning stability typically found only in larger grand pianos. Finally, Yamaha’s unique hammer felt, crafted in Japan, has been designed to bring out the subtle tones of the instrument while withstanding fluctuations in temperature and humidity.
The GB1K and GC Series put the unmistakable sound and touch of a Yamaha grand piano in more places, and in reach of more people, than ever before.
